As an Accountant (all genders), you will work with our Finance team to keep our day-to-day accounting running smoothly and ensure that our financial data is accurate and up to date.

• You will independently process and post ongoing transactions in accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank accounting.

• You will support the preparation of monthly, semi-annual and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.

•  You will handle accruals and provisions and regularly reconcile accounts.

• You will manage our fixed assets and the related asset accounting.

• You will review and post travel expenses and credit card statements.

• You will contribute ideas when it comes to simplifying, improving or making our accounting processes more efficient.

• You have solid professional experience in accounting and a good understanding of HGB; knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
• You are confident using Excel and familiar with common ERP and accounting systems – experience with Sage is a plus.
• You work in a structured and detail-oriented way and keep track of recurring tasks and deadlines.
• You are comfortable managing your responsibilities independently while knowing when alignment with others is needed.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy working with different stakeholders across the business.
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
