Your responsibilities

As a Junior Consultant (all genders) | Business Strategy & Financial Modelling, you will assist with the analysis and evaluation of digital business models, products and services. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will tackle strategic issues and develop sound decision-making frameworks for our clients. Your responsibilities will include the following:
 
  • You support in structuring questions relating to business models, markets and competitors for digital products and services.
  • You contribute to the development of business cases and scenarios and assist with economic and financial analyses.
  • You create pragmatic and well-structured financial models in Excel, make effective use of AI-supported tools in your daily work and maintain existing models.
  • You research market, competitor and usage data and prepare insights in a structured and comprehensible manner.
  • You challenge assumptions, figures and chains of reasoning and help to structure transparent and understandable analyses.
  • You prepare results in the form of analyses, charts and presentations and support the creation of materials for clients and internal teams.
  • You support workshops, client meetings, pitches and day-to-day operational project work.
  • You take on operational tasks such as source research, data preparation and documentation and ensure structured project support.

Why you

Bring what makes you special. This should include:
  • You have gained initial relevant practical experience, for example through internships, working student positions or first professional experience in consulting, strategy, controlling, start-ups, venture building, or the VC or PE environments. Ideally, you have had some initial exposure to business cases, forecasting, unit economics or pricing.
  • You enjoy working analytically, approach topics in a structured manner and are keen to familiarise yourself with new questions and challenges.
  • You have good Excel skills and enjoy working with figures, models and economic contexts.
  • You are interested in digital business models, products and transformation topics and want to understand how digital value creation works.
  • You enjoy getting to grips with new topics, can handle varying levels of information and think pragmatically and solution-oriented.
  • You have already gained some initial experience in research, analysis and the clear preparation of results.
  • You bring a basic understanding of digital product and service development as well as common methods used in digital environments.
  • You work thoroughly, reliably, enjoy taking ownership of your tasks and are able to keep an overview even when working on multiple topics at the same time.
  • You have a solid grounding in the use of AI-supported tools and are open to trying out new ways of working.
  • You have very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken, and communicate confidently in a professional environment.
